Muddy Creek falls in January

This morning I met up with some members of the WMPA for a group shoot at Muddy Creek Falls. We walked down to the base of the falls to get some close-ups, then we went & hiked down the alternate trail to get some shots from the other side of the stream.

What I found interesting was how many frozen waterfalls had formed along the trail from run-off. There were several columns of ice higher than most other waterfalls in the area.

Here are a few of the shots...

Muddy Creek Falls from the base

Muddy Creek Falls from the opposite side of the stream

Large ice waterfall formed by run-off

Large hanging icicles along the trail
